Ideal for production manufacturing
Access to the revolutionary new Additive Manufacturing technology HP Multi Jet Fusion (MJF) is now available through GoProto. HP selected GoProto as a foundation partner to deliver prototype and production parts in North America due to our customer-solutions orientation, production capacity, and decades-long relationship with the HP printing family. As one of the first service bureaus to be selected in the country, we offer leading-edge expertise, and will help you get started with this groundbreaking manufacturing process. Whether you need quick-turn prototypes or more robust production parts, GoProto is your source for all things Multi Jet Fusion.
MJF is an additive process where parts are built layer-by-layer in nylon material, but unlike any process we’ve seen before. It’s a unique, hybrid methodology which employs print heads to first deposit powdered material onto a build plate. Multi Jet Fusion then adds fusing and detailing agents into the mix at the Voxel (3d Pixel) level. Heat energy is then passed over the build platform which fully cures the portions of the build layer where the fusing and detailing agents were applied.
The resulting parts from MJF manufacturing are extremely strong, highly-accurate, and have a surface finish that makes them ideal for mechanical testing and production manufacturing.
Previous 3D printing processes yielded parts that had compromises such as slow speed, poor mechanical properties or unsatisfactory cosmetics that made them suitable for prototyping but not manufacturing.
Multi Jet Fusion provides solutions for these problems. This means you can use MJF for early prototypes to prove out your concept and then use the same process to simply produce more of them for your production. There is no tooling required, there are fewer limitations to your part designs and you can make parts very quickly at low cost. MJF truly makes the full prototype through production process possible with one additive manufacturing solution.
3D printing is now capable of full additive manufacturing using HP’s Multi Jet Fusion through GoProto and the Digital Manufacturing Network. MJF makes production-material parts quickly, cost-effectively and with consistent tolerances that make the process fully production-capable in the hands of the right professional manufacturing partner. MJF allows you to drive faster development times with no tooling allowing for extremely complex part design never before possible at costs that are lower than any previous additive process.
All of this capability adds up to a solution that helps you unlock the full potential of 3D printing and additive manufacturing.

“Hello America, I just want to let you know that the first MJF part arrived on time, was installed and tested and indeed solved our problem beautifully, and all exactly just in time. Thank you and your colleagues for your attention, speed, and quality. Well done.” — Keith (therapeutic medical company)View testimonials
