Multi Jet Fusion (MJF)

Polypropylene

Polypropylene is one of the most widely-used plastics in manufacturing. It provides an excellent balance between low material cost and excellent chemical resistance, mechanical properties and temperature performance. HP’s Multi Jet Fusion process works extremely well with the powdered version of this production-grade material to produce parts that are production-worthy and ready to put to use in early product testing, prototyping, bridge production and final volume production.

The parts produced with polypropylene Multi Jet Fusion can also undergo secondary processing to heat-stake in brass inserts or to heat stake in mating components. It can even be ultrasonically welded to bond halves together to make fluid vessels.
